Su Au is an actor known for her earlier works as the skinhead sidekick Angel in ‘Sealed With A Kiss’, with Louis Koo and YoYo Mung directed by Derek Chiu, nominated for best newcomer. Sanni the mystic psychic in the rom-com ‘Twelve Nights’ directed by Aubrey Lam stars Cecilia Cheung and Eason Chan. Ganglord Master 9 in the 16mm indie-independent ‘Cross Harbour Tunnel’ and also art director, directed by Lawrence Wong with co-writer the talented Cheuk Wan-chi, premiered at the Hong Kong 25th International Film Festival and successfully toured Europe and Asia Film festivals.
Su Au garnered great opportunities in Hong Kong who cites as the city which gave her break and strong foundation in TV, Film production, casting, scripting, before long offered parts in front of the camera.
She models for fashion magazines to billboard advertising campaigns, and performed with Afa Chiang’s contemporary dance group touring well known arts venues in Hong Kong and performed at the International World Dance in Tokyo.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in the UK with a family move when she was young, she describes herself as a HK born British-Chinese artist and actor. She studied Fine Art at Camberwell, Philosophy at Middlesex and Critical studies, Studio-practice & Time-based media at London Metropolitan University at the Sir John Cass Art Department under the tutelage of Nico de Oliveira and David Wilkinson says left a lasting impression and impact on her thinking and creativity as an artist. She trained at the IDSA, Identity School of Acting and Pinewood Actors Studio to fine-tune her craft in acting. She lives in London after relocating back from Hong Kong with her beautiful son.
She is currently working on a new project in post-production titled A Suit, by Davorka Bakota as the main character Zoe.
